Graduated from East Stroudsburg Univeristy of PA with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education. Hobbies include swimming, tennis, golf, photography, painting and traveling. Moved to Sarasota in August and looks forward to learning more about Montessori.

Maggie began teaching in 1987 and moved to the United States in 1996.
In 1998 Maggie taught in Tallahasse and taught at a private school in Bradenton for eight years.
Maggie loves to spend time with her family as well as travel, cook, crafting and photography.

AMS Elementary Certified; Began teaching in 1989; Joined New Gate and began Montessori teaching in 1994; Debbie has been the drama director at New Gate for 11 years, directing Shakespeare in the Upper Elementary program. She has been the coordinator for the yearly opera production, the great books program and works with the Florida Studio Theatre Young Playwrights Festival
Debbie is owned by Bucky and Frisco, her two Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

Dave served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years. He has worked with Real Estate investments and property renovations for 20 years. He was also a purchasing agent for 18 years.
Dave joined New Gate School in 2006 and works as the Elementary and Secondary PE instructor and assistant running coach.
Dave enjoys all kinds of fitness activities: running, biking and weights. Dave has completed the Marine Corps Marathon.

Butch is currently a U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Public Education Officer and Instructor; he enjoys motorcycle riding, travel, fishing, boating, Nascar racing and barbershop quartet singing.

A.A.S Computer Information Technology
13 Years experience in public and private school administrative support. Raynea has been a District Secretary for a public school in Illinois, Registrar at a private school in Florida and Director of Admissions at New Gate School since 2006. Raynea enjoys supporting her son and daughter’s many extra-curricular activities as well as reading, caring for her pets and watching movies.

Lynne Truschel has spent almost thirty years in the financial services sector primarily working with several banks and recently with credit unions. Her most recent position was as EVP/Chief of Staff for Sarasota Coastal Credit Union in Sarasota Florida where she was responsible for running the daily operations of the $235 million organization. Other areas of expertise included deposit/lending operations, compliance, consumer and commercial lending as well as private banking.
Lynne and her husband, David Wachtel, have been parents of New Gate for ten years. Their son Grant is currently thriving in the Secondary Program.
