In The Pink, A Taste of New Gate is an outdoor social gathering with small plates, wine and live music under the stars of our Clark Road campus. Held in November, the event is both a “friendraiser” and a fundraiser for New Gate School’s Scholarship Fund. It is a lovely evening with white lights, pink luminaries, great food and libations. Many guests and parents comment that it is the nicest event that they attend all year in Sarasota. The event started in 2004 as a way to showcase and support the talents of New Gate parents who owned local restaurants and wine stores.   Since its inception, In The Pink has grown to host numerous restaurants and guests from outside the New Gate community. Participating restaurants and beverage distributors donate their time and product. Additionally, we have consistently received $1,000 gift certificates to any Ritz Carlton which raises significant money through a “chance” drawing at the event.
