Our volunteers work very hard to raise funds for New Gate School through the Annual Fund, our annual dinner, dance and auction, titled: “Enchanted Evening ” and our fall event "In the Pink". Our community comes together to create success in these efforts and you will learn more in the following pages.

This program allows New Gate School to receive much needed cash donations, year round, to meet classroom needs. Donations are paid on a monthly basis. Our school code is NEW; mention our code when placing your order and a $2.00 donations will be made to New Gate School. When you buy a Beneva Flowers Gift card, Beneva Flowers donates $5.00 to New Gate School. The gift cards are valid anytime for in-store purchases or to send flowers and gifts, you may purchase the gift cards in the store or over the phone. By utilizing the following services, you can help New Gate School simply by mentioning our name, NEW GATE SCHOOL. Each of the following businesses will send New Gate a check based on a percentage of monies that New Gate parents spend in their stores.
ONE CAUSE and GREAT LAKES SCRIP PROGRAM
Scrip programs are unique in that NGS earns contribution from money parents and other participants already spend at over 750 merchants who participate in these two programs. Scrip programs are a win-win for everyone involved: parents are able to give to the school without having to spend any additional money, the school benefits, and the merchants gain customers, these contributions range up to 20%.
Participating in the Great Lakes Scrip program is easy, you buy gift certificates through the school You will use an order sheet that lists 50 companies, gift certificate denominations ($10 or $25 typically), and the percentage donated to the school for each purchase. You simply fill out your form, submit it to the front office on either campus, and the certificates will be delivered to the classroom you select, and then sent home to you. Orders will typically be placed twice a month. Next order due February 20, 2009.
Please consider signing up for One Cause program or buying gift certificates through the Great Lakes Scrip program. Every contribution makes a difference and is appreciated. To be able to give back to our school is one thing, but to be able to give back without any additional money coming out of our pockets is priceless. The Albertson’s stores throughout Florida participate in the Community Partners program, so you may use your card at any Albertson store. Cards are available at the Ashton Road Campus, so if you are a shopper at Albertson’s please stop by and pick up a card. Every time you shop, show them your card and your receipt total is added to New Gate School fund. You support New Gate School without “out of pocket” expenses, simply by purchasing something you would buy anyway…Groceries! Albertson’s then donates a percentage of purchases made by our parents back to our school. Thank-you!

Office Depot offers New Gate School a 5% rebate on all purchases made at their store. Just mention New Gate School at the checkout line, we have an account code # 70113110, but if you just tell them our school they can look up the number, then they will send New Gate School a check. Again this year New Gate School is participating in the Box Tops for Education program. Through Box Tops our goal is to earn monies to be used on both campuses for very worthwhile programs. All you have to do is SIMPLY clip Box Tops logos from hundreds of General Mill Products and bring them into school. Our school gets 10 cents for each Box Top we redeem. Below is a list of all items that earn us cash.
In addition, this year there is a second way to earn cash, by shopping online at the new Box Tops for Education Marketplace found at boxtops4education.com. Designate New Gate School when registering and up to 10% of your qualifying purchases at stores like Barnes & Noble.com, Eddie Bauer. com, and PETsMART.com will go to our school!
