Programs
The NewGate School is organized into four levels: Toddlers, Early Childhood, Elementary, and Upper School. Click on the links for a brief overview. Further down on this page you will find much more extensive resources about Montessori programs at each level.
Toddlers: Age 18 months to approximately 3 years-old*
Early Childhood: Approximately age 3 through 5*
Elementary: Which is divided into 2 levels
Lower Elementary: Approximately age 6 through 8* (Equivalent of Grades 1-3)
Upper Elementary: Approximately age 9 through 11* (Equivalent of Grades 4-6)
Upper School, which is also divided into 2 levels:
Upper School - Secondary Cycle 1: Approximately age 12 and 13* (Equivalent of Grades 7 and 8)
Upper School - Secondary Cycle 2: Approximately age 14 through 17* (Equivalent of Grades 9 through 12
• Students advance as they are developmentally ready
